The High Bar

Trying to watch the Olympics Mens Team Gymnastics Final on the Internet is a frustrating affair. The problem appears to be Microsoft Silverlight — their attempt at Flash Video Player. It’s still a beta product and it shows. For me, I get two second of full motion video before a one second stutter. For a competition as fast as this, that stuttering almost completely kills the enjoyment of having access to this video.

It’s quite unfortunate.

Addendum: the six minute medal ceremony played much smoother.
