So while the robot Jesus tramples across movie theaters in a big explody Micheal Bay kind of way, the usually boring returns yield this tidbit:

“But the studio says that what is making the big box office difference is African Americans and Latinos flocking to see the film. but especially Latino audiences.”

Bad grammar aside, it’s interesting to note who is coming to the film. Is that secret class of nerd finally becoming a financial force? If only it could be harnessed for more noble pursuits than a toy commercial.
